How can I use my home theater system speakers rather than the TV speakers?
Panasonic Viera TC-I P42S1 my tv hooked up with my S5200 Onkyo HT home theater system via HDMI cable. How can I use my speakers home theater system rather than the speakers? I messed around to turn the TV speakers off, and I know I have everything right. I can not find the option to switch speakers, home theater speaker. I looked through my settings menu and VIERA Link. I need help please!
How is your cable or network drive connected to the TV. If it is connected to the TV, you must connect a optical cable from the TV to the Onkyo HT. When you want to hear the TV sound through the speakers you need to select the source you have connected the optical cable to the Onkyo system. Or you can connect the network cable or the drive directly to the Onkyo over tv. Hope this helps.
