It’s the Light that makes them White
Everyone deserves to have a bright, confident smile, and those seeking it out now have several modern dentistry procedures to choose from.
Teeth whitening is the most common form of cosmetic dentistry where the patient undergoes a bleaching procedure to reduce staining of the tooth enamel. Several procedures are available, including Zoom! in-office laser bleaching and at-home custom-fit tray bleaching.
The discoloration of the enamel of the teeth can be caused by a variety of factors, including age, genetics, certain medications, a lack of oral hygiene or staining due to consumption of cigarettes, coffee, tea, soda or wine. To repair this damage, a dentist may recommend a teeth-whitening procedure, either in office or at home, or a combination of both.
Patients should note that not all teeth whiteners can correct all types of discoloration. Those who have teeth with a yellow hue, for example, tend to do better with an at-home whitener than those with brown or gray-hued teeth do will. Bleaching also may be ineffective if there has been previous bonding or tooth-colored fillings done on the front teeth. In these cases, dental bonding or porcelain veneers may be a more viable alternative.
Many patients opt to enjoy the dramatic and immediate results of a Zoom! in-office laser whitening procedure. During the procedure, which lasts approximately an hour, the dentist will apply a highly concentrated peroxide gel to the teeth and then shine a specialized laser light on the gel-covered teeth. The light activates the discoloration process, and produces a substantial result, literally removing years worth of stains in just one sitting. In some circumstances, the dentist may suggest follow-up Zoom! procedures, or more likely will prescribe an at-home whitening routine with a custom-fitted mouth tray and a low concentrated peroxide gel.
Before the whitening process begins, the dentist will clean and polish the patient’s teeth to remove all of the surface staining. Because the bleaching agents used can be irritating to soft tissue, the dentist will isolate the teeth that will be bleached using a dental dam.
To monitor the results of the whitening, the dentist will match a porcelain tab with the patient’s initial tooth color, and record it in their chart to match against the later results. Most patients are happy with three to four shades lighter than the original color, but with several Zoom! procedures combined with at-home whitening, it is possible to go up to eight shades lighter.

Can the tail effect of Arcana Force EX Light Ruler still be activated if the attack is negative?
If I am using Arcana Force EX Light Ruler, and after negating 4 cards and destroying them, Light Ruler effect is 0, can I negate another card after that or does the effect no longer come into play?
no, because it wont have anymore more atk to subtract, giving the effect no cost, therefor not activating the effect.
