Does anyone have advice for a telephone interview?

I have a telephone conversation today with unexpected Pharmecutical company in San Francisco. I’m on the other side of the country from them, near New York City. This is my first real interview since I graduated in May. I read some advice online, but none of them seem to be relevant to me because it is a entry level position AKA my first real job. That is a regional position CRA feel I’ll probably be out of New York or Newark, NJ but I’m not sure.

As an executive recruiter, I tell all my candidates to ensure that you take this call on a landline. Before the call, do a bit of diligence on the company so when you talk to the recruiter, you can ask some good question. Recruiters like to see that you know something about their he does business in more viagra (etc). When you answer the phone, do it in a strong voice Beat Up. The recruiter at the other end of the line is in tune with how you answer your phone. Treat this appeal as a conversation, not an interview. Feel more relaxed and he will come through better. Take notes during this conversation. It is important that you listen. Do not continue, just answer question. At the end of the conversation you want to do ABC. Always closing. If it’s something you’re interested, tell the recruiter you are very interested and want to move to the next stage of the interview process. Make sure to get recruiters address e-mail and having your hand up with the recruiter before it a note of thanks. In this note of thanks, using the notes you have taken to certain information to show that you’ve been paying attention to detail and the way you are very interested and want this opportunity. Good Luck
